Written & Directed by Kathryn Lee Moss
When Rudi Wobbe, Helmuth Hübener, and Karl-Heinz Schnibbe listen to illegal radio
broadcasts from England, they learn that the Nazis have been lying. Determined to spread the truth, Helmuth develops a plan to spread anti-Nazi leaflets throughout Hamburg. Fifteen-year-old Rudi is confident they can make a difference, but when they are arrested by the Gestapo, and must face the infamous Blood Tribunal, their courage and faith are severely tested.
Filmed on a minimalist set, this production of the original stageplay combines the imaginative nature of theatre with the emotional detail of cinema.
